Roberta G. (Lowder) Thompson

Roberta "Bobbi" G. Thompson, 62, of Greenfield, went to heaven on February 7, 2023, peacefully at her home after an extended illness. She was born on September 6, 1960, in Greenfield to James and Patricia (Haines) Lowder.

Bobbi worked in retail, specializing in customer service. She loved music, dancing and singing. She enjoyed horror movies and playing games with her children, sometimes in the middle of the night. Bobbi had a beautiful soul, never met a stranger and would open her home to all her friends and family  always having a cup of coffee in hand.  She loved her family unconditionally especially her grandkids. When her children were growing up they and their friends thought she was a cool mom. She lived her life having fun, and even though she was tired from her illness, she kept having fun right up until her very last moments.

Bobbi is survived by her adoring daughter Jessica Reider and her fiancé Matt Cook; grandchildren Brianna and Lucas Reider; her mother Patricia Lowder; and her siblings Connie Hickman, Greg Lowder, Keith Lowder, and Mike Lowder. She is preceded in death by her son Thomas Thompson; father James Lowder; brother Matt Lowder;  and brother-in-law Barry Hickman.

A funeral to celebrate Bobbi’s life will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at 7:00 pm at Seals Funeral Home, 122 W. Staat Street, Fortville, Indiana 46040. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until the start of the service.  At Bobbi’s request a cremation will take place and her remains will be laid to rest at the Arnett Lowder Family Cemetery at a later date.
