Sandra K. (Rakes) Gallet

Sandra K. (Rakes) Gallet, 70, of Valparaiso, Indiana, passed away on January 15, 2022. She was born on April 2, 1951, in Harts Creek, West Virginia to Alfred and Dorothy (Williams) Rakes. She is a graduate of Logan High School. Sandra was a homemaker and she enjoyed sewing and crafting.

Sandra is survived by her children Jennifer (Mark) Barnett of Indianapolis, Dori (Jamie) Moore of Valparaiso, and Ronnie Gallet Jr., of South Dakota; grandchildren Emma, Lauren, Olivia, and Hannah; brothers Terry, Garland, Don, Darrell, Dallas, Danny, and Billy Rakes; sisters Jean Maggard, Charlotte Weber, and Phyllis Martin; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Ronald Gallet; her parents Alfred and Dorothy (Williams) Rakes; and siblings Bonnie White, Gary Rakes, and Millard Rakes.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Seals Funeral Home, 122 W. Staat Street, Fortville, Indiana. Visitation will be held prior to the services beginning at 11:00 am. She will be laid to rest at Gravel Lawn Cemetery.
