Sherry Lynn Hart, 50 of Fishers, sadly passed away on Wednesday, December 16TH, 2020 in Indianapolis.
Sherry worked as a Team lead for Allison Transmission for over 20 years. She was a member of the UAW Local #933. Sherry graduated from Madison Heights High School in 1988, she attended college at Ball State University graduating in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Sherry continued her education at IVY Tech graduating in 1996, Surgical Technology.
Sherry had the biggest smile that would light up the room, she loved music, taking pictures, birds, and flowers. Sherry enjoyed watching sports, IU basketball, the Colts and good ole Alabama Crimson Tide, she was an overall sports enthusiast. Sherry’s favorite sport was youth football, where she never missed her nephew Devon’s game. She was the loudest and proudest fan on the sideline, she ran up and down the field on that thin white line every game. We never understood why she would bring a chair, if he was on the field she was too. If there was a bad play, she was the first to let them know.
Sherry enjoyed the Indianapolis 500, motorcycles and car shows. She would attend car shows with all three of her nephews, turning up the music in her nephew’s car, singing, dancing and her signature Peace sign topped it all off.
Sherry loved to travel, she even traveled abroad with friends visiting various places. She loved concerts, all types of music. Sherry loved people and animals; she was always was willing to help. She was also a lifetime member of the Fortville VFW Post #6904 Ladies Auxiliary.
Her Heart was golden, anyone would say, her arms stretched out wide with no end.
Sherry’s most prized possession was her Chihuahua, Reese. If Reese could go, Sherry was bringing her. Reese would be dressed in proper attire for the occasion, you could count on that. Sherry loved her mother and cared for her daily. Sherry was loved and will be deeply missed by all.
Sherry is survived by her mother Sherry Crosley, Reese, (dog), companion Tracy Merrick,
Sisters; Tiffany (Hart) Riggles (Damon), and Carrie (Hart) Patrick. Nephews: David, Dylan and Devon, 4 great nephews, her beloved Aunt Charlene Yingst, Aunt Pam & Uncle Jim Huber and a host of cousins.
Sherry was preceded in death by her father Francis B Hart, Jr, bonus father Jack Crosley, grandparents Charles and Imogene Heiden, and Francis B. Hart, Sr. and Margaret E. Hart
