Sophie Ann (Perchal) Domokos, 98, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on December 31, 2023. She was born on December 26, 1925, in Chicago to Edward and Stephania (Stachon) Perchal.

Sophie was a devout Catholic and lived her life shining Christ’s light in the world particularly by loving on her 7 children, 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.  Sophie enjoyed gardening and camping and loved cooking for her family. Sophie had a full life filled with family and friends and was surrounded by love until her peaceful and poignant yet worthy passing on the Feast of the Holy Family.

Sophie is survived by her children Patricia Sekowski, John (Carol) Domokos, Kathleen Domokos, Robert Domokos, Marilyn Domokos, David (Karla) Domokos, and Steven (Janice) Domokos; grandchildren Susan (Glen) Holland, Christine Gorecki, John Sekowski Jr., John Derek (Kim) Domokos, Nick (Erin) Domokos, Lindsey Domokos, Stephanie (Mark) Avery, Marcus Domokos, Louis Domokos, Jasmine Domokos, Lanee’ Domokos, Michael Domokos and Daniel Domokos; and 16 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband John E. Domokos; her parents Edward and Stephanie Perchal; her siblings Joseph Perchal, Irene Perchal, Mary (William) Kendrick, and Henry Perchal; and son-in-law John Sekowski.

Visitation will take place at St. Peter’s Catholic Church 2118 Main St Rd, Spring Grove, IL 60081 on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 10:00 am followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Burial will be immediately following at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
