Susan Faye (Masters) Evans Obituary

Susan Faye (Masters) Evans 72, of McCordsville, passed away on Saturday December 9, 2023, at home.  She was born May 29, 1951, in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania to Charles and Alice (Ide) Masters. 

Susan was a retired medical secretary.  She was a member of Pennington Park Church where she was active in her small group.  She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who loved being with family, especially on special occasions.  She was very thoughtful, and always paid special attention to personal details when entertaining guests or on other occasions.  She enjoyed shopping, cooking, and housekeeping and was a pet lover. 

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Gary L. Evans; children Brandi (Clint) Kiehl and Josh (Vanessa) Evans; grandchildren Nick (Hannah) Kiehl, Ashton (Tyler) Sweet, Faith (Keith) Sanders, Trinity Kiehl, Avery Kiehl, Fallyn Kiehl, Jillian Kiehl, Griffin Kiehl, Lydia Evans, and Adelyn Evans; great-grandchild Thatcher Sweet; siblings Charles (Martha) Masters and Garry (Elizabeth) Masters, and her loving dog, Finn. Susan was preceded in death by her parents.

 In keeping with Susan's wishes, a cremation has taken place.  A Memorial Service will be held at Pennington Park Church on January 6, 2024, at 2 pm. Arrangements were entrusted to Seals Funeral Home, Fortville.  To share a memory or online condolences with Susan’s family, please visit www.sealsfuneralhome.com   .
