Toni Diane Kerkman

Toni Diane Kerkman, 75, of Indianapolis, went peacefully to be with the Lord on April 14, 2026, at Community Hospital North. She was born on April 6, 1951, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Allen W. Baugh and Doris M. (Boots) Baugh.

Toni was a faithful member of Cumberland Christian Church, where her love for Jesus and steady trust in Him were evident in the way she lived her life. Her faith carried her through both joyful and difficult seasons, and she held tightly to that faith until the very end.

Toni found happiness in simple pleasures. She loved lighthouses and enjoyed collecting them, each one a reminder of guidance and hope. She never passed up a good garage sale and cherished the little treasures she found along the way. Toni also deeply loved her dog, Fuzz, who was her loyal companion and preceded her in death.

Nothing meant more to Toni than her grandchildren. She loved them fiercely and generously, always looking for ways to support and encourage them. Her kindness left a lasting mark, especially in helping them achieve milestones such as moving into their first homes.

Toni was a strong and determined woman. Though she endured a long illness, she fought bravely to remain with those she loved, showing remarkable strength, grace, and unwavering trust in God throughout her journey. Her love, faith, and generosity will be remembered and missed by all who knew her.

Toni is survived by her grandchildren and their spouses, Ariel McConnell (Ryan), Jessi Fair (Timmy), Elijah Miles (Rebekah), Kiela Kerkman, and Rilen Kerkman; her great-grandchildren, Jeremiah Ginn, Paige McConnell, Olivia McConnell, Penny Fair, and Willow Fair; and her bonus daughter, Lindsey Hayes and her three children.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. at Seals Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 122 W. Staat Street, Fortville, with Pastor Thomas Scott officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M.
