Virginia B. Wise

Virginia B. Wise, 86, of Madison, formerly of Ingalls, passed away Friday, December 28, 2018 at King’s Daughters’ Hospital in Madison.  She was born October 6, 1932 in Cabot, Arkansas to Osker and Flosy (Smith) Jackson.  Virginia was a homemaker and of the Christian faith.  She enjoyed crosswords and word search puzzles.

Virginia is survived by son Don Wise of Madison, IN; daughters: Joan Carter of KY, Nila Barker of Anderson and Sherry (Harry Cruikshank) Findell of Utah; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren: sisters: Betty Earlywine of Greenfield and Alice Michaels of Lapel.  She was preceded in death by husband Guy Wise, her parents, a daughter Brenda Wise and grandson Ricky Layton.

A funeral service to celebrate Virginia’s life will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville.  Friends may call on Wednesday from 12:00 pm until the service begins.  Entombment will follow the service at Elwood Cemetery, Elwood, IN.  Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.  Online condolences may be shared at www.sealsfuneralhome.com.
