William Michael Cook

William Michael “Mike” Cook, 76, of Fortville, passed away May 23, 2022, at his home. He was born October 3, 1945, in Greenfield, IN to Chester and Dorotha (Traylor) Cook.  Mike graduated from the old Fortville High School and was a U.S. Army veteran.  He had a deep interest in Fortville history and the railroads.  Mike worked for Traylor’s Marathon Service Station, which was the family business.

Mike leaves no survivors and was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside funeral services for Mike will be held on Monday, June 6, 2022, at 10:00 am at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.  Services for Mike have been entrusted to Seals Funeral Home, Fortville.
