William Neff Obituary

William L. Neff, 91, of Fortville, passed away Monday, May 4, 2020 in Greenfield. He was born October 13, 1928 in Jasonville, IN to Sam and Elizabeth L. (Collett) Neff. Bill was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean War. He retired from Chrysler Corporation as a tool crib attendant in 1986 after 33 years’ service. Bill was a member of Harvest Ministries.

Bill is survived by his wife Anna “Lou” (White) Neff, whom he married July 24, 1954; children: Michael L. (Carol) Neff, Diana J. (Larry) Talbot and Gregory S. (Dawn) Neff; grandchildren: Shane (Mandy) Neff, Angie (Chris) Steeno, Cindy (Mark) Essick, Chrissy (Matt) Streebal, Chald (Jillian) Talbot, Josh (Danielle) Neff, Sean Neff, great-grandchildren: Luke and Audrey Neff, Ryan and Max Steeno, Curran, Gage and Aiden Essick, Olivia Streebal, Hudson and Harper Talbot, Isaac Neff; great-great grandson Nolan Essick; siblings: Sammie (Patty) Neff, Margie Hale, Margaret Guard, Wilma (Mike) Baker. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Robert and Clifford Neff.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic private family services will be held at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. Bill will be laid to rest at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis. Online condolences may be shared at www.sealsfuneralhome.com.
